This technology is highly over-rated. Rather than more machines, we need more face to face conversation. The complaints voice by Plato's Socrates in Phaedrus are still with us today. Can we question each other honestly through a maze of electronic communication? I do not think so. Teaching must be personal, loving, intimate; it cannot exist through a technology, whether that technology be the stylus and the clay tablets or the computer. Writing is bad, any way you look at it. It ruins us all, especially in the memories of personal encounters we never experienced.
