The Clearinghouse is a publishing collaborative that relies on a large, distributed network of colleagues who work together to develop and maintain our Web site, manage our lists of resources, and publish our books and journals. Because of their dedicated efforts, our books typically cost less than ten percent of the costs borne by the average scholarly press. Nonetheless, there are costs associated with providing access to our Web site and publications. Those costs include paying modest honoraria to the graduate students who serve as copy editors and designers for Clearinghouse books, costs associated with obtaining ISBN numbers, and software and equipment expenses.
If you would like to contribute to the Clearinghouse, you may do so through the WAC Clearinghouse fund at the Colorado State University Foundation.
