CompPile is the leading bibliographic database in composition studies, providing listings of work published in composition and rhetoric since 1939.
REx (the Research Exchange) supports scholars who seek mentoring and a public forum for sharing their work. This peer-reviewed site is sponsored by the WAC Clearinghouse and CompPile.

The Consortium on Graduate Communication is an international association whose members provide professional development in written, oral, and multimodal communication to students before and during their (post-)graduate academic and professional programs. CGC members work with graduate students in their first and second/additional languages.
The WAC Summer Institute assists new and prospective leaders of WAC/WID or similar initiatives in the US and internationally in planning and developing their programs. The Institute alsos support experienced directors who face new challenges or wish to expand, update, or revitalize their programs.
Bedford Bits: Ideas for Teaching Composition provides access in archival form to teaching tips and observations on teaching and learning created by leading scholars, authors, and editors.
Writing Programs Worldwide is an open-access platform for teachers and scholars to talk about individual or departmental initiatives that assist how writing is taught and learned in their locales. It grows out of the same team and project that brought us the Perspectives on Writing collection, Writing Programs Worldwide.
Base Internacional Bibliográfica Sobre Lectura y Escritura ("International Database of Reading and Writing") is a searchable database of publications on reading and writing in higher education in Spanish-speaking countries. Learn more at our information page for the database.
Following a series of initial conversations about the formation of a national organization for WAC, progress has been made by the planning committee for the Association for Writing Across the Curriculum. The International Writing Across the Curriculum Conference will be held at Auburn University on June 4-6, 2018. The conference theme, "Making Connections," emphasizes how WAC fosters connections: within and across institutions and programs, between people and positions, and among ideas and practices. In a historical moment when divisiveness, rancor, and disconnection are so pervasive on the national and international stage, our theme aims to underscore the power of collaboration, integration, inclusion, and the search for common ground. Early Bird registration for IWAC 2018 is now open. The early bird rate is $350 for full-time faculty, staff, and administrators and $250 for students, high school teachers, and part-time faculty.
The Clearinghouse relies on a large, distributed network of colleagues who work together to develop and maintain our Web site, manage our lists of resources, and publish our books and journals. Because of their dedicated efforts, our costs are low and our books and journals are all published in open-access formats. We still incur costs, however, and welcome your support.
