What kinds of writing can I include?

When we consider how Writing across the Curriculum (WAC) has been implemented at a range of universities, we see that writing assignments generally fall into one of two categories. Click on the items below to view more about each:

Note: Some teachers combine the two categories and assign writing that meets the goals of each, but many teachers choose to focus on one type or the other.
